The client had a basic Yamaha surround sound speaker and a Pioneer plasma on the wall.  There were cables on show and a Sky HD and PS3 console on the floor.  We were tasked with coming up with a solution to improve the look of the install and inject some life into their audio system.

Working alongside MP Bedrooms we designed and built the unit you see in the picture.  We upgraded the sound system with a Onkyo receiver and  5.1 QAV speaker bar with rear speakers and a subwoofer.  This provided a clean look to the installation and provided a huge increase in sound quality.  The QAV system also helped conceal the front three speakers.  All wiring and components are hidden in the unit to keep the install uncluttered.  The unit also provides storage for all the DVD/Blu-ray/Game discs as well.

Dedicated home cinema room with 3.5m electric screen and a full HD Panasonic projector.  There is also the option of using the 50" Full HD Plasma which has been installed behind the screen.

Hardware included:

Onkyo 906 receiver, MK Speakers, Panasonic Blu-Ray player, Custom Built (Doctor Tech) Windows Media Centre, XBOX 360, SONOS multi-room audio system. All controlled by a Phillips Pronto 9600 remote system.  This also controls the curtains, Lutron Grafick eye lighting, and also the activation of the projector and projection screen.

All components are hidden in a dedicated room and controlled via WI-FI using the Phillips Pronto control system.

A refurbishment project where the client wanted music in all of the main rooms and the Garden.  They also required a dedicated family room to watch movies, Sky HD, and play games.  Full network installed including both wired and wireless access.  To keep the minimalist look we employed the use of ceiling speakers throughout the five internal music zones and then utilised two pairs of wall mounted speakers for the patio and garden sound.

Hardware included: Sonos, Yamaha Sound Projector, PS3,Wii, SKY HD, Pioneer 50" Full HD plasma screen, Systemline ceiling speakers (Lounge, Kitchen, Hallway, Bathroom, Garden), Flatline acoustics outdoor speakers, Netgear wired/wireless network components.
